Track the activities of your visitors and gain valuable insights into their engagement with your content.
Depending on whether an entire website or domain, a blog or individual landing pages are tobe tracked, the type of integration varies slightly. All three options are described below.
To add the tracking code to the header HTML of a HubSpot domain, follow these steps:
- Log in to your etracker account and copy your individual tracking code under Settings → Integration →Tracking Code.
- In your HubSpot account, click on the gear icon in the top menu bar to access the settings.
- Click on Website and select Pages.
- Under Select domain to edit your settings, select the desired domain. If you have more than one domain, select Default settings for all domains.
- Paste the tracking code you copied earlier into the Website Header HTML field.
- Click on Save – done!
To add the tracking code to the header HTML of a HubSpot blog, follow these steps:
- Log in to your etracker account and copy your individual tracking code under Settings → Integration →Tracking Code.
- In your HubSpot account, click on the gear icon in the top menu bar to access the settings.
- Click on Website and select Blog.
- Select the blog you want to change under Select blog to change.
- Go to Templates.
- Paste the previously copied tracking code into the field Header HTML for Blog Listing Pages.
- Click on Save – done!
To add the tracking code to the header HTML of HubSpot sites or landingpages, follow these steps:
- Log in to your etracker account and copy your individual tracking code under Settings → Integration → Tracking Code.
- In your HubSpot account, go to Marketing → Website → Website Pages or Marketing → Landing Pages.
- Move the mouse pointer over a page and click Edit.
- In the editor, click Settings and then Advanced Options.
- Paste the previously copied tracking code in the Additional Code Snippets section into the Header HTML field.
- Click on Publish or Update – done!
