New ePrivacyseal Award

We are very pleased that JustRelate etracker was once again awarded the prestigious EU ePrivacyseal data protection certification on August 17, 2026. By renewing this certification from the independent certification body, JustRelate has ensured that its web analytics solution continues to comply with the relevant processes and strict criteria of EU data protection law (EU GDPR) regarding the overriding legitimate interest. This continues to provide customers with assurance when using JustRelate etracker without consent or when using the hybrid mode in compliance with the law:

“The JustRelate etracker product can, in principle, continue to be operated in its standard configuration based on legitimate interests pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR and, with cookies enabled, based on consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR as the legal basis.”

The ePrivacyseal EU was awarded following an in-depth technical and legal review of all relevant system components. This review covered advancements in the areas of consent and tag management, as well as server-side data connections to Google Analytics (GA4) and the marketing platforms Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Pinterest Ads. The list of certification criteria is continuously updated to align with the interpretation of the GDPR and other data protection laws, such as the ePrivacy Directive (implemented in Germany as the ePrivacy Directive).

This reflects our commitment to protecting users’ privacy while ensuring data quality for website and campaign management. Especially in the age of AI, a reliable data foundation is essential for successful marketing.
