New: Visibility and 1-step conversion tracking without HTML coding

Do you want to measure the visibility of specific website elements? Automatic scroll tracking already shows the visibility and dwell time by sections of your web pages. You can measure views even more granularly at element level. This is particularly exciting for websites that market advertising space and want to report both ad views and clicks. Element visibility can also be helpful if, for example, a “Successfully submitted” message appears when a form is successfully submitted.

You can use CSS selectors to measure visibility even without access to the page code. There is a new event type selection under Account Info → Settings → Selector events, which you can use to select the View option. Views are triggered as soon as the element with the selected selector appears in the user’s visible area.

If, for example, the display of a “Successfully submitted” message is measured, you can define the view directly as a conversion action. This saves you the configuration via the target system wizard. Direct configuration as a website target is of course also possible for click events. Do you want to measure not only the interactions or views with the event, but also the success of the campaign?

You can find more information about CSS selector events here.
