About the partnership
The basis of our cooperation is the concluded partner contract. Here are two key points that you should be aware of:
Free etracker analytics Enterprise Account
As an etracker partner, you will receive a free etracker analytics Enterprise account for your own website. This allows you to try out all the features and manage all customer accounts conveniently via single sign-on with the help of multi-account management. Your free account will be renewed annually for a further 12 months if the partnership is active. If the account expires, simply send an e-mail to partner@etracker.com with a request for renewal.
Affiliate link & profit sharing
When you signed the partner contract, you received an individual affiliate link. Use this link when presenting your partnership and integrate it into your website, social media and newsletter campaigns. You create (test) accounts for your customers via this link so that the accounts are directly assigned to you.
For each new customer assigned to you who books a fee-based tariff, you will automatically receive the corresponding profit share, recurring with each new license term. The commission is always invoiced in the following month after receipt of payment. Further details on the commission model can be found in the partner contract.
Partner Badges
We have the right badge for each partner category that you can include on your website and in your marketing materials:
- Solution Partner: Starts the partnership as an agency or consultant with a signed partner contract.
- Certified Solution Partner: Certify at least one employee in the etracker academy as an etracker specialist and benefit from the advantages.
- Technical Partner: Integrate etracker directly into your solution via an API or other interfaces.

Challenges with GA4
- Data basis: The supervisory authorities have decided that Google Analytics may only ever be used with consent. Regardless of whether with or without cookies, even with IP anonymization or in consent mode. This means a high loss of data. In addition, ad blocking and browser protection measures (ITP, ETP) reduce data quality.
- Data transfer: Even if there is currently a valid EU-US data protection agreement (Data Privacy Framework), the transfer to third countries poses a risk (Art. 49 GDPR). The European Court of Justice can overturn this at any time.
- Data sovereignty: Google lays claim to the data for its own purposes. This could potentially lead to Google Analytics data being incorporated into target group targeting, which competitors could use.
- Consent management: Separate solutions must be used to obtain consent. This results in additional work and often errors, as every tag change has to be managed in two systems.
Challenges with Matomo
- Costs: Operating Matomo on your own incurs considerable costs. In addition, many features are subject to a fee and lead to expensive license costs over time. This means non-transparent pricing.
- Performance: The very simple and outdated database technology quickly reaches its limits.
- Segmentation: The technology requires simple, rigid reporting. Analysts who do more than very simple KPI monitoring have little fun with it.
- Data protection: As Matomo Analytics reads properties such as the screen resolution from the user’s end device via JavaScript by default, the user’s prior consent is always required.

Do partners have to generate a minimum turnover?
No, as a partner you are not obliged to achieve a minimum turnover or to acquire a minimum number of customers.
Can I switch to the customer accounts with just one login?
Yes. As an etracker partner, you will receive a free etracker analytics account in the Enterprise Edition. Using the multi-account management available in this edition, accounts can be flexibly linked with each other so that you can easily switch between accounts with just a single login.
How do we become a Certified Partner?
In our etracker academy, we regularly conduct live moderated intensive training courses to become a Certified etracker Specialist. With the successful participation of an employee from your agency, you qualify as a Certified Solution Partner and benefit from the associated advantages.
How do I extend my free partner account?
Your free partner account in the Enterprise Edition is always extended annually for a further 12 months if you have an active partnership. If a pop-up appears in your account indicating that the free account is about to expire, simply contact partner@etracker.com with a request for renewal .
Where can we find our affiliate link?
After signing the partner contract, you will receive a welcome e-mail from us containing your individual affiliate link.
How is it ensured that we receive a commission for referred customers?
New accounts that have been created via your affiliate link will be automatically assigned to you and you will automatically receive the corresponding commission when the customer has paid an invoice.
What do we do if an account was not created via our affiliate link?
That’s no problem. Simply send the account ID and URL to partner@etracker.com and we will assign the account to you manually.
