Talking page areas

Thanks to auto-tracking, pages are grouped by default based on the URL structure. No manual tagging or configuration is required for this. The associated report dimensions, i.e. the page areas, are simply numbered by hierarchy level or URL structure by default:

If, for example, the country selection is included at the top URL level after the domain, the corresponding area can be renamed accordingly.

To do this, simply select the appropriate area level in the settings under Account → Data enrichment → Areas, adjust the name and click Save changes.

And the name now appears in the dimension selection and in the report:

This makes evaluation much easier. This is because you do not need to have the URL structure in mind in order to make the desired dimension selection.
